Our first real estate project in India is a set of 1,775 flats to house 7,000+ residents within Life Republic – an existing township in Pune undergoing continued development by Kolte-Patil Developers Ltd (KPDL), our specialist partner in the country.
Targeted at Pune’s first-time buyers, the Universe project spans 4.2 hectares of land within seven kilometers of one of the largest IT parks in India, home to many leading IT companies and a vast job market.
Universe will host the first of our Innovation Hubs in the subcontinent, integrating modern functional design with energy-saving solutions and smart community technology
The community of one and two bedroom flats will be spread over nine tower blocks and accompanied by 160 retail outlets. Residents will benefit from IoT-enabled infrastructure and a wide range of shared services. Smart solutions to be implemented include intelligent lighting, a water management system, air quality monitors, smart benches, fitness trails, a smart gym, Library of Things, coworking space and SOS columns.
Services will be powered by our free digital platform, the Planet App, where residents can access the latest news and useful information, book shared spaces, create events and connect with other members of their neighbourhood and invite guests into the residence via the Gate function. Insights from data analytics and the dedicated Community Manager will inform decisions to improve quality of life in the development.
